Diploma in Environmental Services

Who Should Attend?

• Executives and managers from the Cleaning Operations, Waste Collection, Materials Recovery, and Treatment and Disposal sectors who are currently in a supervisory or team management role or aspiring to that role.
• Individuals who are at the stage of mid-life career shift and are required to upskill their competencies to remain employed.
• Senior workers who are already working in the environment cleaning sector and would like to upgrade their skills for career advancement to the supervisory level.
• Employees who have been identified by their employers to upskill their competencies level to support their job roles at the workplace.
• Senior workers in the environment cleaning sector who have attained the Level 3 certification from SSG and are pursuing a diploma that they were not given the chance to pursue previously.

Entry Requirement

• 21 years old
• Obtained at least a pass in English GCE “O” Level, or
• A pass in ASCENSUS INSTITUTE’s English Literacy Test with a minimum grade of 60%.

Normal Entry:

• Completed NITEC, or
• Higher NITEC, or
• At least 1 pass with a minimum C6 for GCE ‘O’ Level

Graduation Requirement and Award

Successfully completion of all the 7 learning units (modules) with competency.

Possible Progression Pathway

Upon successful completion of the course, learners (students) may progress into an Advanced Diploma in the Environmental Services course, subject to meeting the entry requirements of the school.
